BestWool/BestLamb and BetterBeef Networks Regional Roadshow

From February 28 to March 3 2023 I was in Victoria, Australia, participating in the BestWool/BestLamb & BetterBeef Networks Regional Roadshow.

My presentation covered flock and herd health plans.

Recently we have been hearing a lot about flock and herd biosecurity plans. Biosecurity plans are important to prevent disease spread onto a farm or region. However, biosecurity plans are only one part of the larger flock or herd health plan.

A good health plan is key to a healthy flock or herd. During my presentation, I covered how to put your flock/herd health plan to work to help minimize seasonal disease risks and reproductive losses.

Four Roadshow events were held:

• Wangaratta Victoria, Tuesday 28 February 2023

• Sale Victoria, Wednesday 1 March 2023

• Bunninyong Victoria, Thursday 2 March 2023

• Dunkeld Victoria, Friday 3 March 2023.

The Roadshow was well attended, with around 100 people attending on some days.
